The «Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli», formerly known as the «Autodromo di Santamonica», is located in Misano Adriatico in Rimini and boasts a track length of 4,226km. Misano also builds the fighting ground for the Grand Prix of San Marino. The track comprises a total of 16 turns and is considered one of the most beautiful circuits of Italy. Weather forecast for the upcoming race weekend once again predicts hot temperatures.

Emil Frey Racing is set to keep the winning pace from the last race weekend in Zandvoort and is hoping once again to gain valuable points at the upcoming third Sprint race. Currently, Emil Frey Racing is ranking highest in the Sprint Cup with 49 points and plans to defend their place at the top.
