Emil Frey Racing announces the start of the Emil Frey Racing Academy for the 2023 season.
The goal of this academy is to support and develop young talented drivers. Emil Frey Racing, in collaboration with AF Corse, has secured a place for the two young talents, Jean-Luc D’Auria and Stuart White, in the cockpit of a Ferrari 488 GT3 with the number 52 to participate in the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship.
“For me, Emil Frey Racing is a dream come true. It’s very emotional for me because my father and I have been working towards this,” said Jean-Luc D’Auria. “I will never forget bringing the car to Emil Frey for service with my parents and then visiting the cars at Emil Frey Racing. Since that day, it has been my dream to be part of this team. I am convinced that I will have a successful season with my teammate Stuart White, with whom I get along very well. However, this requires a lot of work. To grow constantly, I need to spend time in the simulator and with the engineers. I can’t wait for the first race in Misano and I’m looking forward to the season start.”
“I’m extremely excited for the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship. I think it’s a very good place for the Academy to start off. Also, for me and Jean-Luc to grow even more as drivers, and I think it’s going to be a very interesting season with a very competitive championship. I’m really looking forward to it. I’d like to thank Emil Frey Racing for the trust and for making me part of the team for the second year in a row. Just looking forward to growing even more in the team and hopefully bringing home some good results,” said Stuart White.
